The Uszheimer Foundation, the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and Minimal Films Production Company, in collaboration with the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC), are pleased to announce this contest to be held in remembrance of Jordi Solé Tura and in order to encourage cultural awareness and the understanding of brain diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders.

The purpose of this award is twofold. On the one hand, to show a global vision about the reality of the patients, families, caregivers, nurses, doctors and other professionals who must endure these diseases and, on the other hand, to offer students and experts involved in the field of filmmaking the opportunity to promote their audiovisual works.
